VW job for UK Audi boss

Audi's UK director Kevin Rose has been moved to a European position which has seen him transfer to VW Group headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany.


Rose has led the UK franchise for six years having joined the brand from Seat where he was director from 1995-1999. Under his tenure at Audi the brand achieved considerable growth having finished last year with 77,039 sales an 8.8 per cent increase on 2004's total giving Audi a 3 per cent market share for the first time.
His new position will be head of international sales and marketing for the Volkswagen brand.
Robin Woolcock, director of VW Group in the UK, will take over Rose's day to day responsibility as acting head of Audi until a successor is appointed.
