Nationwide Autocentres has appointed one of Scotland's most experienced automotive managers, Greg Dolan, as part of its plan to expand operations in Scotland.
The car service and MoT testing specialist is following the model adopted in England and Wales where the company has grown from 41 centres in 2001 to its current total of 220 outlets
As regional general manager, Dolan will be responsible for eight existing Nationwide Autocentre garages in Scotland, as well as leading the development programme of its AA approved service centres.
He joins the company having been part of the team that expanded Kwik-Fit north of the border. Dolan said: “We will be looking to acquire existing successful businesses, both single operated independent garages in key locations and multi-site businesses.”
Nationwide Autocentres currently services and repairs over half a million vehicles every year and is the UK's largest MoT tester.
