The courses are aimed at independent garage technicians who are familiar with the latest common-rail technology but do not have access to the training normally offered by franchised dealers.
Launched at the beginning of the year, Forte has already hosted four of the half-day courses, covering HDI (High Pressure Direct Injection) and PDI (Piezo Direct Injection) diesel technology, as well as engine management techniques.
“The course has been a real eye opener for technicians in terms of what they need to be aware of with today's new vehicles,” said training specialist at AT Training, Eric Mitchell.
The courses cost £35 per person with the next one to be held in Leeds on 24 September and in Edinburgh on 29 October.
