Of the respondents to the survey, 84.7 per cent said Glass's Guide was the more useful. Only 15.3 per cent said the same of Cap.
On whether Glass's Guide accurately reflects prices achieved on the forecourt, 56.5 per cent of respondents said it did and 42.4 per cent said it didn't. For Cap, only 28.8 per cent said it did and 44.1 per cent said it didn't.
On whether the guides were inaccurate, 25.5 per cent said Glass's prices were too high; 9.8 per cent said the same of Cap. On whether prices were too low, 13.1 per cent said this was the case with Glass's and 23.5 per cent with Cap.
