Lada maker revs up for £1bn listing

Autovaz, one of Russia's largest car manufacturers and maker of the Lada is preparing to seek a listing on the London Stock Exchange.

The company, which produced 700,000 cars and had revenues of £2.2bn last year, is expected to reach a market value of £1bn. As well as the Lada, Avtovaz also produces a version of the Astra for Opel.
